Start by wetting your hands with warm water. Then, take the handmade bar soap and run it under the water for a few seconds. This will help create a rich lather later on.
Create a Lather. Rub the wet soap between your palms or rub it directly onto a washcloth or loofah to create a creamy lather. Make sure to evenly distribute the soap on your hands or the washcloth.
Apply the Lather. Gently massage the lather onto your body, focusing on areas that need cleansing. Work the soap into a rich foam, covering all areas.
Rinse. Thoroughly rinse the soap off your body with warm water. Make sure to rinse all areas to remove any residue. Enjoy the relaxing sensation of the soap being washed away.
Store the Soap Properly.
To ensure the longevity of your handmade bar soap, store it in a cool, dry place between uses. A soap dish or a soap saver is ideal for allowing the soap to dry properly and last longer.
